What is HID ActivID?
HID ActivID is a robust and comprehensive identity and access management solution that provides high assurance, allowing organizations to effectively manage security identities, issue credentials, and implement multi-factor authentication (MFA). It accommodates smart cards, USB tokens, and mobile devices to ensure secure access to workstations, networks, and cloud applications.
Key components:
- HID ActivID Credential Management System (CMS): Manages the entire lifecycle of secure credentials, such as smart cards (e.g., PIV/CAC) and USB keys, allowing for secure login, data encryption, and digital signatures.
