High Definition Printing (HDP) ribbons and HDP Film combine to produce durable and tamper resistant cards with crisp 600 dpi or 300. This ribbon is compatible with the printers in the HDP5000 series and allows for the printing of ID cards in full color.

The HDP5000 and HDPii Printer Ribbon 084050 is print full-color images as well as text and barcodes. This ribbon fits the HDP5000 and HDPii printer.

It also features a black resin panel for precise printing of barcodes and text. Each roll is rated to last for approximately 500 prints.
- FARGO 3-Panel YMC Full-Color Ribbon (750 Images/Roll). For use with FARGO HDP5000 ID Card Printers.
- A FARGO YMC ribbon consist of three panels (Y is Yellow, M is Magenta, C is Cyan) and is used for printing full-color cards where composite black is acceptable
A composite black is created by mixing YMC and will work for you if you’re not printing barcodes and if you don not need crisp black text. If you need sharp, black text, use a YMCK ribbon which has a separate black (K) panel for printing black text and graphics.
This ribbon is used for single-sided card printing.
