Description
The TSL 2128P RAIN Reader, designed and developed by TSL (a part of HID), features a high-gain fixed antenna with a read range of up to 9m (29.5 ft), offering excellent performance for various applications.
- It supports in-reader tag de-duplication, managing over 50,000 unique tags from more than 1 million reads, providing the meaningful information faster.

- The reader can store up to 500 million unique tags on a micro SD card (separate purchase) with date and time stamps for every tag read, enabling powerful batch data collection. Sophisticated feedback and advanced search capabilities provide in-depth tag management

- The 2128P includes the patented ePop-Loq connector, allowing for both data and charging connections to external devices such as enterprise handheld terminals.
- This system is designed to safely detach when impacted, such as during drops.
- The 2128P Docking Station supports charging of the reader and an attached device via ePop-Loq, accommodating a wide range of devices from various manufacturers. The station kit includes the docking station, power supply and USB cable.
- Applications developed for previous TSL RFID readers can be easily configured to work with the 2128P. This simplifies integration and streamlines application development.

- The 2128P offers Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth® LE support, operating in Serial Port Profile (SPP) or Human Interface Device (HID) mode, with automatic reconnection for both Android and iOS devices.
It also features ultra-secure data gathering, with the option for batch data collection stored on a Micro SD card, ensuring secure data even without wireless connections.
