The Edge-30R+ is a powerful UHF RFID reader primarily used for vehicular access control. Its standout feature is its automatic reading capabilities, making it user-friendly without the need for complex API development.
The reader can automatically read tags and transmit data in real-time to a computer or access controller using the most common available communication protocols in market: Ethernet TCPIP, Wiegand 26/34 bits, Clock & Data (Abatrack) 10/14 digits, and RS-232.

- The Edge-30R+ features a very simple installation process, eliminating the need for coaxial or shielded cables. It only requires the use of two conventional network cables to complete the installation: one for power and network connection (PoE) and another for other communications, input, and output (relay).
The power supply of the Edge-30R+ supports IEEE 802.3af standard PoE (Power Over Ethernet) and there is also the possibility to use a PoE injector of the same standard.
